About Us

It all started back in March 2010. Victoria Roberts (MD of Star PS Ltd) and Victoria Wood (Fairy Communications) were sat, doing what they do best, having a brew in Costa Coffee and planning world domination.

“I really should be doing more for charity.” Said Victoria Roberts, to her PR Guru, Victoria Wood.

And so it began….

Victoria Roberts

Victoria Roberts owns Star Professional Solutions Ltd, a permanent recruitment company based in Sheffield.

Victoria has one daughter, two dogs and a love of all things camp, pink and alcoholic. She is addicted to Twitter, obsessed with make up and, as she puts it, is “a networking tart.” If she was marooned on a desert island, her CD of choice would be a Radio One Live Lounge compilation and she would keep herself occupied by learning to crochet palm fronds and creating bikinis from coconut shells.

The launch of the PPTP came about on Victoria’s 40th birthday, where she was spoilt with free tea, cake and being serenaded by Paul Pashley.

“I support Weston Park because we have all been touched by cancer. Sheffield, as a city, is so lucky to have such a fantastic hospital. The fundraising team¹s enthusiasm matches my own and I look forward to working with them on an ongoing basis.”

Victoria Wood

Victoria Wood, or ‘Little Vic’ as she is widely known, has owned Fairy Communications – a public relations (PR) agency in Sheffield, since October 2009.

She’s a mother of two (guinea pigs), a football fanatic (and writer) and an ex-radio DJ. Her music collection ranges from ‘very cool’ to ‘downright embarrassing’ and she proudly boasts that she knows Pretty Woman ‘word for word’.

“I owe a lot to Weston Park. One of my best friends survived cancer, having been treated there and my late Uncle’s brave battle was made more comfortable thanks to the hospital. Currently, somebody very close to my partner and I is fighting the disease at WP too. It’s such an amazing hospital.”

Thank you

fabulous morning at Cocoa Sheffield. The PPTP team would like to express their
greatest thanks to the girls at Cocoa for being so generous and helpful!
